Willamette Pass, Oregon, USA
Normally I go to the big slope - Mt. Bachelor in Bend Oregon... however this time I decided to try the smaller mountain in my area - Wilamette Pass. I must say, I was impressed. There wasn't too much of a crowd, even on a day that should have been very busy. The snow was great and the trails seemed to be maintained quite well. I even had an interaction or two with staff members and all were quite happy and seemed to be enjoying their time on the mountain... just as I was.

Yes, it is a pretty nice place... there is definately something to be said for going to a smaller resort that is not a crowded as the larger mountains. I have yet to go on all the runs, but I will report back as I plan on visiting a few more times this season.
